About Brew Anew

SafeNest is excited to announce we will be hosting Brew Anew: A Summer Soiree on Saturday, July 24^th at the Four Seasons. We’re shaking things up a bit this year by moving our annual spring event to a summer gathering. After the past year, we are ready to gather and spend an afternoon reconnecting with friends, colleagues, and community partners.

Brew Anew will feature raffles, games, entertainment, and more. There will still be tea (iced and hot), cocktails, conversation, and an informative program. But expect a twist on the theme, vibe, and overall experience.

Our fundraising goal is $100,000, 100 percent of which will support SafeNest’s programs and initiatives like Pathways to Hope, created to prevent violence before it starts by working with and supporting the next generation. Research shows that 76 percent of children raised in a household with domestic violence will repeat the cycle as victim or as a batterer. SafeNest’s Pathways to Hope strategic initiative seeks to help at-risk children find HOPE and recognize a brighter future with programs like:

• Camp Hope Las Vegas, a week-long overnight summer camping adventure for children who have been exposed to domestic violence. By offering a specialized curriculum developed around traditional camp activities, campers gain independence along with the skills and hope they need to break the generational cycle of violence.
• Coaching Boys into Men (CBIM) & Athletes as Leaders (AAL), evidence-based, national programs designed to end domestic and sexual violence before it starts by equipping young male and female athletes and their coaches with the resources and skills necessary to build healthy relationships.
