Start a Social Media Fundraiser

Social media is a great way to start a fundraiser for your favorite charities. You can support survivors through fundraisers on Facebook and Instagram.

How to Start a Fundraiser on Facebook
  • On the left side of your Facebook home page, click Fundraisers
  • Under Raise Money, choose Select Charity
  • Search “Safe Nest TADC”
  • On the left side, enter your goal amount, the currency of the funds you’re raising, and the end date of your fundraiser. Feel free to customize your fundraiser’s title and description, too.
  • Click Create
  • Be sure to share your fundraiser to your friends!
How to Start a Fundraiser on Instagram
  • Open Instagram and create a New Post
  • Choose your image or video, and choose → or Next
  • Crop and add filters to your post as desired, then choose → or Next
  • Tap Add Fundraiser
  • Search SafeNest or safenestlv. Select SafeNest in the search results.
  • Specify your goal amount and currency. Tap Done.
  • Tap ✓ or Share
