PS417

Project Safe 417 (PS417) is a unique collaborative program between SafeNest and the Las Vegas Metro Police Department (LVMPD) dedicated to reducing domestic violence related abuse and homicides in the Las Vegas valley.

Upon receiving the initial domestic violence call (police code 417) LVMPD alerts the 24/7 SafeNest domestic violence crisis hotline and requests PS417 first responder support. SafeNest’s first responder advocates are dispatched and report on scene with Metro officers where they provide support, safety planning, information about community resources, and legal options (Emergency Protective Orders) to survivors.
