Volunteer Requirements

Before you become a SafeNest volunteer, you’ll need to make sure you fit the following requirements:

  • Must be 21 years old or older

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Reliable vehicle/transportation

  • Possess a smartphone

  • Attend 8-hour DV Academy training and complete 3 ride-along shifts

  • Commit to three 4-hour shifts per month

  • Clean criminal history (complete a background check as part of DV Academy)
