LAS VEGAS – SafeNest, Nevada’s largest and most comprehensive nonprofit dedicated to ending
domestic and sexual violence, is hosting a “Santa’s Workshop” for shelter residents and others
served through SafeNest’s programs at the nonprofit’s onsite Cora’s Boutique this holiday
season.

“We’re so fortunate to be able to host holiday shopping for our families,” said Liz Ortenburger,
SafeNest CEO. “Thanks to the generosity of our community and supporters, we’re able to
provide hope, happiness and joy to families impacted by domestic and sexual violence this
holiday season.”

SafeNest will host community shopping days on Dec. 18, Dec. 19 and Dec. 21 at the nonprofit’s
Cora’s Boutique. Clients and their families will shop for toys and personal items free of charge
during those days.

SafeNest volunteers will host the families, providing light food, beverages, holiday cheer and
gift-wrapping services on-site.
