Las Vegas Built the World’s Greatest Entertainment City.

Now we must build the safest one.

$18 Million Goal 57.8%

Domestic violence and human trafficking are among the most urgent crises facing Southern Nevada. One Safe Place will change that.

For the first time in Nevada, survivors will be able to access legal protection, counseling, medical care, housing support, and advocacy—all in one place. But the most important thing we are building is hope..

THE PROBLEM

Las Vegas Faces a Crisis Few People See

Behind the lights and success of our city, thousands of families are living in fear.

Clark County continues to experience some of the highest rates of domestic and sexual violence in the nation, with 138 related homicides since 2023.

For survivors seeking help, the current system is fragmented.

They must travel between courts, police departments, social services, medical providers, and counseling centers – often while still in danger.

For many, the system is simply too overwhelming to navigate.

And lives are lost because of it.

THE SOLUTION

One Safe Place: A First-of-Its-Kind Campus for Nevada

One Safe Place will bring the entire response system under one roof.

Survivors will have access to:

Legal advocacy and protective orders

Crisis counseling and trauma therapy

Child and family services

Medical and forensic care

Housing and financial assistance

All coordinated by a multidisciplinary team focused on safety and recovery.

Instead of navigating a broken system, survivors will enter one door—and find everything they need to rebuild their lives.

This model has proven transformative in other cities.

Now Las Vegas is building one of the most comprehensive campuses in the nation.

WHY LAS VEGAS LEADERS ARE STEPPING FORWARD

The State of Nevada has already committed millions to launch this project – one of the largest investments ever made to address domestic violence in the state.

But government funding alone cannot build the future our community deserves.

This is a moment for Las Vegas leaders to step forward.

To build something that will save lives for generations.

THE OPPORTUNITY: A Rare Chance to Shape the Future of Las Vegas

We are assembling a group of philanthropic leaders to complete the vision of One Safe Place. These founding investors will:

  • Help launch a nationally recognized model of survivor care
  • Protect thousands of families every year
  • Establish a permanent legacy of safety in our city
  • Accelerate the renovation of the campus
  • Expand life-saving services
  • Create lasting naming opportunities within the facility
  • Most importantly, they will send a message that Las Vegas stands with survivors.

LEAVE YOUR LEGACY AT ONE SAFE PLACE

Only $7.6 million remains to bring this life-saving campus fully to life. Legacy gifts will ensure survivors in Clark County can access safety, justice, and healing the moment they walk through our doors.
