LAS VEGAS – Nevada’s Attorney General and gubernatorial candidates will take the stage this September and October for a series of nonpartisan town halls hosted by SafeNest, the state’s leading domestic and sexual violence nonprofit. These town halls give voters a direct look at where the state’s next top officials stand on domestic violence and survivor safety. Confirmed candidates include Attorney General hopefuls Adriana Guzman Fralick and Senator Nicole Cannizzaro, and gubernatorial candidates Governor Joe Lombardo and Attorney General Aaron Ford.Â
“For nearly 50 years, SafeNest has stood with clients, the community, and lawmakers across Nevada to make us safer,” said Liz Ortenburger, CEO of SafeNest. “These town halls give voters a rare opportunity: the chance to hear directly from candidates on where they stand on this critical public health issue, and to ask the question that matters most to our community: how do we stop the violence?”Â
