Ending domestic and sexual violence takes innovative approaches based on data and evidence-based solutions. SafeNest plays a pivotal role in helping young people, survivors, and abusers end the cycle of generational violence.
SafeNest works with the Alliance for Hope International and the University of Oklahoma to end the cycle of domestic and sexual violence by working with young people, including those most at risk for repeating or starting the process of violence. SafeNest impacts over 20,000 local youth each year through direct and indirect services.
Using data-driven indicators such as ACEs (adverse childhood experience scores) and hope metrics, we can significantly impact the lives and futures of our youth and adolescent clients.
Camp Hope Las Vegas is a week-long overnight summer camping adventure for children who have been exposed to domestic violence. By offering a specialized curriculum developed around traditional camp activities, campers gain independence along with the skills and hope they need to break the generational cycle of violence.

Positive youth development strategies focus on forging healthy relationships; cultivating trustworthy, safe spaces; and offering youth opportunities to succeed in meaningful ways. Another defining characteristic of Lean on Me is that youth are treated as equal partners and engage with their communities, schools, organizations, peer groups and families in ways that are both healthy and productive.
